Bharat Scouts and Guide (Rangers) unit was established in our College on 6th Nov. 2019, as per the notification of the parent university,  Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura.   Dr. Supriya Malashetty, Assistant Professor is the Nodal officer .The Nodal officer attended t one week ranger leader basic training from 22-08-2022 to 28-08-2022  After the basic training , the officer set up  a Ranger unit consisting of 15 students. On 23-11-2022 ,Shri Siddu Pujar DOS-District Organizing Secretary and Shri K. G. Gudimani, Local Organization Secretary, Hubli, imparted training to the students and demonstrated with information regarding scouts flag hoisting, scouts  mission and international cultural Jamboree preparation.
Following this, 8 students and the ranger leader participated in International Cultural Jamboree from 21-12-2022 to 27-12- 2022, organized at Alvas Educational Institution, Mangalore.
Objectives of Rangers:

• To develop team work spirit among students.
• To help them cultivate discipline and leadership qualities.
• To educate students for life and help them inculcate sense of responsibilities.

Total 22 students were benefited from Unit-I. It helps them to explore, to discover the world beyond classroom and also helps in all round development. Various activities are held throughout the year.
