As per the guidelines of the Central and State Governments, our college has established  SC/ST,OBC Cell, which plays an important role in safeguarding the welfare of students  of UG/PG. The SC/ST, OBC Cell was constituted in the year 2012 to promote the welfare of the SC/ST,OBC students. The main aim of the Cell is to monitor the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, HRDC and by the department of Ministry of Social Welfare Government of Karnataka from time to time.
The SC/ST, 0BC Cell gives wide publicity through circulars to students about the various scholarships, namely, Post-Metric Scholarship, Karnataka Higher Education Special Scholarship, Meritorious Scholarship, P.G. Women Scholarship, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, P.G. Scholarship for professional courses, ICSSR and other scholarships, and fellowships.
•The SC/ST,OBC Cell tries to solve the problems of the SC/ST,OBC students with amicably. The cell, has been user friendly councilors to all SC/ST,OBC  students.
     
SCHOLARSHIPS:

• The SC/ST students are getting Scholarship from DSW Government of Karnataka.
• Scholarship is being provided through State Scholarship Portal [SSP] to all SC/ST, OBC students of the college from academic year-2020-21.
