About College

Women’s education in India has witnessed immense development over the years. Education of women plays a very important role in the overall development of the country. Keeping this in view our founder president His Holiness Late Shriman Maharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Dr. Gangadhar Rajayogendra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath, Hubballi, established this esteemed college in the year 1967. The college under the able guidance of the present president Shriman Maharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Gurusiddha Rajayogendra Mahaswamiji Moorusavirmath has achieved several milestones. The college is situated in the heart of the city easily accessible to all transport links. The college has to its credit the honor of being accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade twice in the year 2004 and 2010. We are also acknowledged with the status of College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) by UGC during the XI and XII plan period. It is gifted with the committed, well trained teaching and administrative staff headed by dynamic disciplined academician and supportive management with the necessary infrastructure to facilitate meaningful teaching and learning. The college has been rendering valuable service in the field of higher education. It is best known for its highest standard of spontaneous discipline, academic excellence and endurance to culture. We envisage a combination of excellence in education with a strong moral base. We are striving to empower our students by providing knowledge skills that are necessary to create worthy human beings. Our college consistently secures ranks every year at the university level. We are proud to say that around 11,390 women have graduated from our college.
